May 2007:
Burglary of Habitation-12000 blk Eagles Nest Dr -BUDA.
Overhead garage door was left open. A White male entered
the garage while complainant and wife were in the back
yard; Actor stole several items from a garage refrigerator.
Complainant observed male running from driveway and get
into a gray or silver colored 2 door older model passenger
car with duck tape on the passenger window.
Please remember to keep your garage doors closed at all
times. An open garage is a perfect opportunity for a thief
to get in and out quick.

Mailboxes at Fitzhugh and Bell Springs (Bell Springs
Ranch)-DRIPPING SPRINGS. Complainant called and advised he
observed a 1990s model Dodge truck (unknown color) removing
mail from mailboxes at Bell Springs Ranches. Complainant
was unable to advise any additional information regarding
this matter.

On 05/20/07 Hays County Sheriff’s Office received a 911
call from ONE OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH CITIZENS IN
Belterra reporting a burglary in progress. The caller
advised two males were taking copper from a residence in
Belterra. Our Neighborhood Watch Citizen provided excellent
vehicle and actor information that enabled deputies to stop
the vehicle. Deputy Ryan Gonzales and Deputy Brad Doring
stopped the vehicle that contained copper and other stolen
items. Both suspects were arrested and charged with
Burglary.
This arrest was made possible because of OUTSTANDING
Neighborhood Watch participation and CITIZENS that make a
difference. Please continue to keep your eyes and ears open
and report any suspicious activity.
